Wall fountains have long been a favorite of mine. They offer welcome to visitors and serenity when you are alone and need an escape from the day’s daily grind. There are wall fountains both at the entrance to my home and on my backyard patio. The patio is for personal use when I wish to sit and enjoy the magical sound of running water.
Off in the distance I can hear the soft tinkle of wind chimes as the air moves them gently back and forth. The chimes are nestled in a tree bough, where their delicate sound adds to my personal comfort. This is my oasis from humanity and its constant demands. I have no need for expensive vacations to get away, for here I am restored.
